What We Do
We use only the finest materials…or whatever we find in the recycle bin…to bring nature to life in a permanent form. Well, until it rusts. But otherwise fairly permanent.
A nonprofit business…also known as a hobby…creating practical art for home and garden.
We don’t take this very seriously because it is a lot of fun making this stuff. If you like what you see, then that is just awesome.
Sustainable fuel…ok, yes. We are just cheap.
We Use a Charcoal-Fired Forge with Wood from Downed Trees

Why You’ll Love Us
Well….actually you may not love us. We can be difficult to get in touch with, we are not on social media, and we only work on this when we have a mind to…and when it is not too hot…or too humid…because that is no fun at all. But if you can deal with all of that, you may find pieces of our work hidden around the village of Nashville, Indiana from time to time.

Here at Blacksmith Cottage, we work on all types of metal…black, shiny, purple. We don’t care. If it is metal, bring it on! Let’s see if the staff here at Blacksmith Cottage can get this 70 year old trailer back on the road. What idiot had this idea….oh…yeah…never mind.
